Everything in the universe has the purpose to reach forever further, to increase complexity. Every thing, event and thought is remembered and stored in dimension 4. It is the perfect scientific library. The expansion of the universe is just a consequence of it´s expanding mind. This is the dark energy and the explanation why the expansion accelerates forever.

Most earth like planets are. It is difficult to lead the evolution. Innovation takes time. It is much easier to follow, to catch up, to use experiences from others. That´s why most earth like planets are in the leading group in the race of evolution.

How can the universal constants be so perfectly tuned in our universe?
The answer is that they are tuned. This means they are not constant. To explain how universal constants can change, a model needs something like dimension 4.

Quantum mechanics include non local interactions. ”Spooky action at a distance” as Einstein called them. They can´t be explained with three dimensions and time. This made Einstein skeptic to quantum mechanics. How the laws of nature can work universally can´t be explained either with just three dimensions and time.

Visualize our three dimensions as a two dimensional surface on a sphere. Let dimension 4 be the sphere inside. It is in direct contact with every point in the three dimensional universe. The memory in 4 is direct accessible from any point. A proton remembers to follow the same laws of nature everywhere in the universe.

Hydrogen remembers hydrogen and water remembers water. A tree remembers the form of its leaves. As described by Rupert Sheldrake. A bird follows the instincts not only of its ancestors but also of similar creatures in the universe. Virus is not the simplest form of life. Everything is alive.

Memory is dimension 4. Events that are repeated become habits. Persistent habits become laws of nature.
